What Is Legacy Giving?
Legacy giving is planning how your assets can continue to make a meaningful impact to the community even after you have passed on. One powerful way to create a lasting legacy is through wakaf — an Islamic endowment that provides perpetual benefits. Unlike one-time donations, wakaf creates a sustainable source of funding that continues to generate returns and support causes indefinitely.
Why Legacy Giving Matters To You?
As Muslims, we are encouraged to leave behind meaningful contributions that benefit us in the Hereafter. Through legacy giving, you can:
- Create sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) for perpetual rewards
- Ensure your assets are gifted according to your wishes and syariah-compliant
- Make a lasting community impact
- Continue Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.’s tradition of giving
How Can Legacy Giving Bring Value To The Community?
Your legacy gift helps build a stronger, more resilient community by:
- Providing sustainable funding for mosques and madrasahs
- Supporting the development of religious teachers (asatizah)
- Enabling socio-religious programs that uplift the Muslim community
- Ensuring Islamic institutions can continue serving the community
