Grateful to MUIS for the remarkable effort to create Wakaf Masyarakat Singapura (WMS). This wakaf enables me and my family to extend the tradition of a legacy of gratitude and giving, following the practice of the Prophet’s companions as well as past wakif around the world, and in Singapore. Contrary to the past, where awqaf were created by wealthy philanthropists with real estate, WMS is a wakaf for everyone regardless of social status to participate and in so doing, contribute to the further development of our religious institutions and community. May Allah SWT accept our giving to WMS and count it as a good deed for the Hereafter.
